What counts as a source
Official agency websites and published law first. Reputable secondary explanations only to help you understand the primary source, never to replace it.
Dates
Each page states the date our editors last checked it. Checking means confirming the official source still says what we summarize, not that a licensed professional has reviewed the page.
Pending qualified review
Content about immigration, taxes, property, health coverage and other regulated matters is marked pending until a qualified professional has reviewed it. When that happens the page will show the reviewer’s name and date; until then, treat it as orientation only.

What we do not do
